SUMMARY:Westchester Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:Westchester Public Library invites all ages to our Game On at the Library Summer Reading Kick-Off event on Thursday\, May 28 at the Thomas and Hageman Branches. The community is welcome to drop into either branch between 2:30 5:30PM for balloon twists\, caricature artist\, carnival games\, and to sign up for Summer Reading. \nIf you are not able to attend the kick-off event\, you can register for Summer Reading any time starting May 28 in-person at either branch to receive your paper logging materials\, or participate virtually via our Beanstack app. Summer Reading runs May 28 - July 18. \nThere are reading challenges for children ages 0-4\, K-4th graders\, 5th-12th graders\, and adults ages 18 and up. The more you read\, the more chances you'll have to win prizes. All participants will be entered to win fabulous prizes for every age group. Winning tickets will be drawn after the program ends on July 18. \nThe Thomas Branch is located at 200 W. Indiana Avenue\, Chesterton\; 219-926-7696. The Hageman Branch is located at 100 Francis Street\, Porter\; 219- 926-9080.
