Artist Statement "I’ve always been an avid observer of the beauty in everyday domestic life and the splendor that nature offers us. And every time I’ve picked up a brush to begin a painting I am so grateful for the gift of time and the desire to create something. Whether I’m inside or outdoors painting or drawing, I love telling a story, and my question then becomes whether it should be whimsical, realistic, nostalgic, or maybe a little dramatic? And my style and approach are influenced by my subject matter and my mood. I love sharing my visions and my stories and I hope my viewers feel a sense of place, a nostalgic connection and a smile in my artworks."
