Join Art Barn on Saturday, August 1 from 2-6pm for a ceramics “Make A Thon” to support this year’s Art Blitz celebration! Get your hands dirty and help us stock up on ceramic pieces for our popular “Paint a Pot” activity at our Art Blitz Weekend (September 18-19). Whether you are an experienced potter or have never touched clay before, you are welcome to join us for this open house-style making party in the Art Barn clay studio. Our ceramics instructors will be available to provide support and guidance to anyone who may need a starting point, and 7 wheels will be available for hourly use. We also have a slab roller, extruder, and many hand tools available for your creative ideas. Join our community of Art Barn students, staff, volunteers, friends, and family during this FREE event, where everyone will have a chance to try their hand at working with clay while enjoying snacks and drinks on us. Make-a-thon is beginner-friendly, but children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. All pieces made during our make-a-thon party will be considered donations and used for the Paint-a-Pot event at Art Blitz.
