Duneland Annual Career Fair Returns to Connect Students With Local Career Opportunities CHESTERTON, IN — Duneland School Corporation will host its Annual Career Fair on Wednesday, October 28, at the Chesterton High School Main Gym. The event will take place from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. and will be open to students in grades 9–12. The annual career fair gives students an opportunity to connect directly with community partners and learn more about different careers, industries, and future opportunities. The event has continued to grow in recent years, welcoming more than 1,000 students over the past three years. Community partners are an important part of the career fair and help make the event possible through their time, experience, and enthusiasm. This year, approximately 40 community partner tables will be available, giving each organization its own space to showcase its specialty and connect with students. Hands-on demonstrations, conversations, and interactive activities are encouraged throughout the event. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore potential career paths, and learn valuable information directly from professionals in the community. Community partners interested in participating are asked to RSVP to lstaack@duneland.k12.in.us. When submitting an RSVP, partners are encouraged to include information they would like students to know before the fair, including their organization’s mission, career opportunities, company culture, or tips for success.
