Our food waste composting program is BACK bby! From 3-7pm every Wednesday starting April 8th, 2026 and going until May 27th, 2026, we will be at the Coffee Creek Farmers Market collecting your food waste. Address: 2300 Village Point, Chesterton, IN. Community members are encouraged to bring their food scraps such as, fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, and eggshells, to the market. Volunteers + Food Waste Joe will be on hand to ensure that the waste is suitable for composting and to provide guidance on composting practices.
