Watercolor pencil is the ideal medium for creating vibrant floral art. Kristy Kutch is the author of two colored pencil technique books and is featured in four instructional films. She is a positive, supportive instructor who welcomes students with all levels of experience. With an emphasis on floral art with watercolor pencils, students will create paintings, as these works are aptly called, on white, colored, and varied surfaces. Kristy offers demonstrations, personal attention, and a wealth of information. An array of materials such as paper, blenders, and sample pencils, will also be given to participants. Welcome spring with some floral inspiration! Lunch will be provided each day. A suggested supply list will be sent to participants 7-10 days before the workshop. Kristy Kutch Artist Bio

Kristy Kutch holds both bachelors’ and masters’ degrees in education from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. She has taught over 200 drawing workshops nationwide for students of all ages. She has contributed to several colored pencil instruction books, as well as releasing her own technique book, The New Colored Pencil from Watson-Guptill publishing. Some of her numerous art awards include Judges' Mention of Excellence, Chicago Chapter, Colored Pencil Society of America; National Semifinalist, American Artist Floral Art Competition; and she is a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
