Three20 Recovery Community Center is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges. As Region 1’s Recovery Hub, we foster connection, creativity, and healing through art, wellness, and peer-based recovery programs. Position Summary

The Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing Three20 Recovery’s mission by cultivating meaningful relationships and securing funding through direct donor and sponsor engagement. This position focuses on connecting the community to the mission—sharing stories of hope, resilience, and recovery that inspire support and partnership.

This role reflects many aspects of relationship-building and fundraising, requiring a confident, outgoing, and personable individual who enjoys being out in the community, building connections, and representing Three20 with enthusiasm and authenticity.

Candidates with lived experience in recovery, family recovery, or supporting loved ones affected by substance use or mental health challenges are strongly encouraged to apply. This background brings valuable perspective, authenticity, and empathy to the role, helping build genuine connections with donors, partners, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Schedule and attend donor meetings, presentations, and community events.
• Prepare tailored proposals, sponsorship packets, and impact reports.
• Manage assigned donor portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up and acknowledgment.
• Support growth of monthly and recurring giving programs.

Event & Campaign Support

• Secure sponsorships and in-kind donations for events such as Ride for Recovery and the Year-End Giving Campaign.
• Assist with event planning, logistics, and day-of coordination.
• Collaborate with the Development & Marketing Manager to achieve fundraising goals.

Database & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and timely donor records in the CRM system.
• Track fundraising activity and provide progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with donor privacy and confidentiality standards.

Community Engagement

• Represent Three20 Recovery at local functions and partner meetings.
• Act as a public ambassador for the organization’s mission and values, sharing the story of recovery and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience with CRM systems and donor tracking preferred.
• Familiarity with the recovery community or nonprofit sector is highly desirable.
• Lived experience—personal or family—is viewed as a strength and an asset to this role.
• Strong Computer Skills.
• Organizational Skills or familiarity with Task Managers.
