PORTAGE, IND. – AUGUST 20, 2025 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana is excited to announce a partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Carter’s Inc. to combat youth learning loss and enhance community impact.

Starting August 20, Carter’s customers in Northwest Indiana can make a monetary contribution at checkout at Carter's Merrillville and Schererville locations. Donations will support Boys & Girls Clubs’ early learning and arts programs. "This powerful partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Carter's represents a significant advancement in our efforts to combat youth learning loss and enhance community impact," shared Mike Jessen, President & CEO at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana. Campaign Facts:

 Carter's invites customers to donate $1, $3, or $5 at the register August 20

–October 18 to Boys & Girls Clubs.

 Proceeds raised will benefit early learning and arts programs; Merrillville store

donations will benefit the Cedar Lake Club and proceeds from the Schererville

location will benefit the Hammond Club.

How Donations Make a Difference:

 Every $1 invested in Clubs returns $10.32 in economic benefits to Club

members, their families and society.

 $1 donation can help a kid ace a test or give a teen 20 minutes of leadership

training.

 $3 donation can provide 18 minutes of programming

 $5 donation can feed two kids after school or give a kid access to a team sport
