Valparaiso, IN – August 18, 2025 – United Way Northwest Indiana is proud to announce a generous $2,500 contribution from Dawn Foods, a global leader in bakery manufacturing and ingredients. This gift will directly support United Way’s work to advance financial stability, healthy and resilient communities, and youth opportunity programs throughout the Region.

Founded more than 100 years ago, Dawn Foods has grown into a trusted partner for bakers and food service operators in more than 100 countries. With a strong focus on community engagement, Dawn is committed to supporting initiatives that uplift families, create opportunity, and promote long-term well-being.

They also collaborate with dozens of community organizations to ensure families have access to food, housing, healthcare, and other essentials.
