VALPARAISO, IN. – The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County will host their 18th annual NWI Earth Day Celebration from 9AM to 1PM on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at the Porter County Expo Center, 215 E Division Road, Valparaiso, IN.

Registration is currently LIVE for interested vendors and sponsors at https://portercountyrecycling.org/earth-day. Vendors and sponsors will receive different promotional benefits based on sponsorship level.

The event is free to the public and will feature an array of vendors, local wildlife, a magician, interactive children's games, birdhouse building, document shredding, a Fix-It Fair, food, giveaways, and more! Major parts of the event will also include the Reuse Fair and Rain Barrel Competition amongst local schools.

The theme for this year is “Our Power, Our Planet”. Exploring the ways in which we as humans have the power to enact positive change for the planet’s sustainability! Participants are encouraged to incorporate this theme into their booth display.
