Porter County, IN - In honor of Earth Day 2026, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming Reuse Fair, a unique event designed to promote sustainability and community support by connecting non-profit organizations and schools with generous community donors. We invite all eligible organizations to participate in this impactful initiative.

The Reuse Fair aims to keep valuable items out of landfills by encouraging the donation of reusable items to organizations in need. This is a fantastic opportunity for non-profits and schools to receive useful supplies, all while embracing the important theme of reuse.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at the NWI Earth Day Celebration

Reuse Fair Time: 9AM – 11:30AM

Location: Porter County Expo Center

Organizations interested in receiving donations must register by emailing sarah@portercountyrecycling.org.

Due to space constraints, participating organizations are asked to provide a wish list of up to ten (10) reusable items. Please note that wish list items should not include food or new items. A representative from each organization MUST be present during the entire collection period to ensure efficient distribution.

A finalized list of acceptable donations will be published once we have a sufficient number of registered organizations. This list will help guide community members in their generous contributions.
