Sweet Partnership: Tethan’s Candy & Confections Joins Humane Indiana Resale to Support Local Animals

Highland, IN – May 6, 2025 - Humane Indiana is excited to announce a new partnership with Tethan’s Candy & Confections, located at 221 Broadway Avenue in Chesterton, to offer a variety of confections, chocolate items and sweet treats at Humane Indiana Resale, located at 8149 Kennedy Avenue in Highland.

Every purchase of Tethan’s products at Humane Indiana Resale directly benefits local animals in need, with 100% of proceeds supporting Humane Indiana’s animal shelter and adoption center, low-cost veterinary clinic, and wildlife rehabilitation center.

“This partnership is a beautiful example of how small businesses and nonprofits can lift each other up,” said Linsey Carrigan, Humane Indiana Resale Store Manager. “Tethan’s carries incredible, high-quality sweets that our customers are going to love—and those purchases help us save animals every single day.”
